I'm a poor excuse for an artist, but I do enjoy writing. Been dabbling with the quill and parchment since the 3rd grade, but only recently began writing things of a les...innocent...nature. I enjoy playing the Mass Effect and Dragon Age games, but I am far from a gamer. Mostly, I enjoy Bioware's stuff because their stories and characters make my mind go "Duhrrrhhr..." with pleasure.
Currently I am attending a four-year university working on an Ancient European History degree (I <3 Rome) and write when the muses decide to leave the strike line. Lately, my obsession has been Dragon Age 2, and thus my whole reason for creating a deviant account, really. But since I'm here, I figure "Why not post a few of my stories? I know there are other perverted minds out there like me who might enjoy them!"

Damn, it's been a little while since I've been on here. I apologize for the silence to those of you reading my stories. Had to focus on some research papers for my classes among other things.
The free time I do have is spent either playing one of the Dragon Age games, catching up on some reading, or working on an AU Dragon Age 2 story involving Garret Hawke and Anders. I'm actualy quite proud of it and I've gotten a few chapters in so far. But I hesitate to post a story until I finish it so that I'll actually...finish it. Hehe. Leper Beef Jerky

Ahhh, once again the Black Death proves that it can be oddly amusing.
Learned today that, apparently, it was once considered beneficial to eat the scabs that formed on the skin of lepers. According to Christian ideals, lepers were paying their penance in the here-and-now instead of after death like the healthy. Because of this, they would immediately be permitted to enter paradise upon death, and so eating these scabs from their decaying flesh was the "in" thing back in the day.
Of course, my peers decided to take this to a very sick level and the idea of "leper beef jerky" was born.

For those of you who are reading my random little fanfictions, I just wanted to apologize for the lack of updates recently. Midterms are upon me right now, and because my Black Death professor is a sadist and decided that a take-home midterm would be best, I have a lot of work to get done. Unfortunately, this kind of kills the creative gene. I'll try to get my muses back into shape here soon, but for now I'm just going to try not to kill myself (or anyone else, for that matter) while I work to finish up writing my analysis of the Justinianic Plague and the motives behind the Progressive Era movment.
